In 1922, Harry Olmsted and Myron Kirk acquired a Dallas, Texas paper distributorship charted in 1905, organized Olmsted-Kirk Paper Company and set out to become a premier source of quality paper products. Much has changed in the ensuing years. Olmsted-Kirk's first 12,000-square-foot operation has expanded to include extensive warehouse facilities in major markets throughout Texas. Hand-tallied ledgers have given way to sophisticated computerized ordering and inventory systems. The initial staff of 20 has grown to a team of professionals numbering several hundred. Now in its fourth generation, Olmsted-Kirk's original commitment has remained unchanged. It is a commitment to the many diverse businesses they serve to deliver premier papers in every category they require. This single commitment has led to a product line of exceptional scope, diversity and quality. Today, Olmsted-Kirk's sales and warehouse operations are located in Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Waco, Austin, San Antonio and Beaumont.
