SAN DIEGO, CA - WAXIE Sanitary Supply, America's largest family-owned distributor of sanitary maintenance supplies, is pleased to announce the promotion of two key employees to Vice President effective January 13, 2010.
ANDY VANDERWIEL
Andy began his career with WAXIE over 12 years ago as a Sales Consultant in the Santa Ana division. Andy diligently and successfully made an immediate impact in sales and transferred to the San Diego division in 1999 where his success continued as he was instrumental in developing high profile accounts. In 2006 Andy was promoted to Corporate Accounts Director.
Andy has innate leadership skills that have been fostered through his professional and community involvement. He has demonstrated that he has the abilities and foresight to take on more responsibility within WAXIE and is a key person in WAXIE's current success and future growth. Andy is most deserving of this promotion as a result of his years of success and commitment to WAXIE.
ERIC COHEN
Eric began his career with WAXIE over 10 years ago and brought with him years of experience in logistics from the United States Marine Corp to one of the country's largest healthcare providers, Kaiser Permanente. As Senior Director of Logistics at WAXIE, Eric has made significant positive impacts with respect to the areas of logistics, warehousing and transportation.
Outside of Eric's tangible success he is most known and admired for his tireless dedication to multiple company projects that he is assigned to. Whether it is an acquisition, computer software change or a building move, Eric is considered a leader. He has an incredible work ethic, an insatiable desire to learn and is a consummate professional.
